It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles A. Christy of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Charles E. Christy (Carol); and his grandson James Fertsch. He is survived by: his wife Gabriella Christy (Ziller); his children, Thomas Christy (Rehl) and Cynthia (Christy) Fertsch (Bob); his grandchildren, Matthew Christy, Patrick Christy, Shawn Christy, Kevin Christy, Brian Christy, Scott Christy, Holly Fertsch, Sarah Fertsch and Ella Rose Christy; his great grandchildren, Juliette Christy, Charlotte Christy, Madilynn Christy, Jack Christy and Charles; and his brother Kent Christy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charles' name may be made to the Heart of Surfing, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit for those with autism, established in honor of Charles' grandson, James Fertsch.
