“Wendy, Jenn, Amanda & grandchildren, I am so sorry for your loss of your father & grandfather. I knew Barney 25 years & can still remember the first day we hung out doing genealogy. I was only 21 years old then & we had a ball going to cemeteries together. He showed me my 3 greats grandmother, his 1 great grandmother JoAnna Naylor Tubman in Laurel Memorial Park then we would explore Dividing Creek Baptist Church cemetery & the oldest ancestor, John Tubman 1726-1759 bured at Greenwich Presbyterian Church cemetery. Barney looked all over and found nothing. Finallly he tripped over what he thought was a rock. It wasn't a rock after he dug the stone up it was a well preserved headstone of John Tubman our oldest ancestor we found & we took pics of it and it's on findagrave. Gonna miss you Barney. Love you cuz.”
