He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tsoplakis and Niki Tsoplakis; and his brother Efstratios Tsoplakis. He is survived by: his daughter Christina Tsoplakis (John Karanikolas); his sisters, Maria Kalaitzi and Eleni Skoutarioti; his sister-in-law Panagiota Tsoplakis; his nephews, George Tsoplakis (Dione) and Spiro Tsoplakis; and his niece Athena Konidaris (Taso).
