He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lou (Jacob Smith, Sr.) and Alex Wilson, II; his brother-in-law Henry Chambers; and his grandson Kareem Davis. He is survived by: his children, Gwenetta Davis, Sylvia Gibbs of Pleasantville, Duncan Earl Jones of Atlantic City, Alex Wilson, IV of Magnolia, Damon Gibbs (Quiana) of Pleasantville and Jaquay Neil of Pleasantville; his siblings, Regenia Chambers of Brooklyn, Gwendolyn Jeffries (Cedric), Jacqueline Smith and Jacob Smith Jr. (Maria); and his former wife Rubynell Henderson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (829 Tilton Rd, Pleasantville, NJ 08232). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery (Blvd. 50, Weymouth, NJ 08330).
