He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carroll and Magdalena Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Wilson); his children, William Carroll and Cathleen Fleming; and his stepchildren, Bruce Margopoulos and Susan Dumont.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Francis Cathedral (32 Elm Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lake Nelson Memorial Park (150 Morris Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to St. Francis Cathedral in William's memory.
