Vera Scannella Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, at the age of 104, Vera Scannella of Edison, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vera Scannella to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Andriola and Teresa Andriola (Lombardi); her husband Carl Scannella; and her daughter-in-law Belinda Scannella. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Scannella and Maria Abruzzo (Charles); her grandchildren, William Abruzzo (Jennifer), Christopher Abruzzo (Debra), Jeannine Connor (Sean), Joseph Abruzzo (Chelsea), Carlo Scannella (Dani), Michael Scannella (Jeannine) and Jamie Scannella; and her brother Vincent "Jim" Andriola. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
