The passing of Robert D. Walters of Edison, New Jersey, born in Kingston, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 16, 2024 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David and Emma; and his siblings, David and Marian. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine (MacMichael); his sons, R. Craig Walters (Lauriejean) of Roswell, GA and Scott A. Walters (Kristine) of Metuchen; his grandchildren, Kyle, Brian, Michael, Scott Jr., Matthew, Nicholas, Andrew, Nathaniel, Molly, Emma and Caleb; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Rocky, Ford, Shelby and Bentley.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen Youth Group/Habitat for Humanity Youth Mission Programs.

“Hello Jerry, Craig and Scott Ian so saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. It is never easy losing your loved ones especially close family. I will always have fond memories of Bob and remember his making a special effort to come to my mother’s funeral. I remember being there for Craig’s (Scott’s?) wedding and he and I being the 2 “old guys” playing basketball the night before the wedding. Jerry my prayer is that God be extra close to you at this time. Blessings.”
