With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Gibbons of Edison, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Emily (Sean David), William (Rebecca) and Michael (Brittany); his aunt Marion Meyerhoff; his uncle Jerry; his brother Edward (Joanna); and his siblings-in-law, Bill (Lauren), Kathy, Karen (Jim), Fran (Cyndi) and Joann (Kyle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gerity & Chubenko Funeral Home (411 Amboy Ave, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095).

In lieu of flowers, the family invites mourners to make a donation to the St James Food Pantry, 174 Grove Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
