She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Liszewski and Wanda Liszewski. She is survived by: her husband Ron Syslo; her son Joseph; her daughter-in-law Cathy; her grandsons, Michael (Elizabeth) and Luke; and her brother-in-law Joseph. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
When she finally did retire she stayed active with the Polish Children's Heartline and the Polish Cultural Foundation. And when her beloved grandsons, Michael and Luke, arrived she spent the next few years watching her grandsons.
