He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike and Anna; his nephew Frank Sanguinedo; and his brother-in-law Frank Sanguinedo. He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his children, Mike Martinez (Michelle Cherande) of Manhattan and Anna Martinez (Steve Stacy) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Maya, Maddie Martinez, Lola and Santiago Stacy; his sister Mabel Sanguinedo of Staten Island; his siblings-in-law, Amparo Barbeito of Flemington and Manuel Barbeito (Maria Jesus) of Spain; and his nieces and nephews, Richie Sanguinedo, Joanne Naveira, Maria Barbeito, Raymond Otero, Robert Otero, Manuela Barbeito and Alberto Barbeito.
