He was predeceased by: his wife Sadie Pearl Fitzgerald; his brothers, Archie Vaughn Fitzgerald, Reginald Fitzgerald and Roger Fitzgerald (Jone Gibbs); his son Martin Raleigh Fitzgerald; and his granddaughter Mariah Rose Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his sister Diane Fitzgerald Leslie; his sons, Milton Robert Fitzgerald Jr., Mervin Richard Fitzgerald and Marlow Ronald Fitzgerald; his granddaughters, Monique Rachel Fitzgerald, Brianna Lee Fitzgerald and Katie May Fitzgerald; and his great grandchildren, Adalina, Amiyah and Ivy.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and at 9:30 AM. The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
