He was predeceased by: his parents, Ling Hing and Hung Yuk Chun; his son Phillip Ling; and his siblings, James Ling, Susan Chin and Esther Wong.
He is survived by: his children, Susanna (Kevin Wong), Winnie Ann (Brian Luper) and Frankie (Alison Lee); his grandchildren, Erica, Adam, Lindsey, Evan, Avery, Jake and Kelsie; his wife Linda; and his siblings, Marian Chan, Wyman Ling, Kathleen Wong, Grace Linn, Sunny Ling, Wayne Ling, Kim Ling, John Ling and Cindy Allard. He is also survived by 80 nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hazelwood Cemetery (64 W Lake Ave, Rahway, NJ 07065).
