It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Petrucelli of Edison, New Jersey, born in West Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; and her brothers, Joseph DeZao and Richard DeZao. She is survived by: her children, Steven (Randi) of Edison, Christopher (Eve) of Texas, Jeffrey and Patricia; her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Nicholas, Andrew, Francesca, Briana and Olivia; her great grandchild Malcolm; and her sister Lyn Spero. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to the Wounded Warriors and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

She was not only a wonderful person but also a consummate professional who brought love and a unique level of expertise to the classroom everyday. Her students were blessed to have her as their teacher. I consider myself lucky to have known and worked with her. May she rest in peace.”
