Lorraine Swanson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Lorraine Swanson of Edison, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedict P. Saldanha and Viola Saldanha; and her husband Thomas Swanson. She is survived by: her son Timothy Swanson of Edison; and her siblings, Desmond Saldanha (Janet) of Edison, Julius Saldanha (Betty) of Edison, Benedict Saldanha (Maryellen) of Matawan, Mildred D'Souza (Stan) of Sun Lakes, AZ, Bernardine Rodrigues (Gabriel) of Oakleigh South and Patricia D'Souza (Rick) of Pickering, Canada.. She is also survived by her nephews, nieces, and grand nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brunswick Memorial (454 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ 08816). A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew the Apostle RC Church (81 Seymour Ave, Edison, NJ 08817).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Lorraine may be made to the Center for Hope Hospice (https://cfhh.org) at 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 or to support any cancer organization of your choosing.
