She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedict P. Saldanha and Viola Saldanha; and her husband Thomas Swanson. She is survived by: her son Timothy Swanson of Edison; and her siblings, Desmond Saldanha (Janet) of Edison, Julius Saldanha (Betty) of Edison, Benedict Saldanha (Maryellen) of Matawan, Mildred D'Souza (Stan) of Sun Lakes, AZ, Bernardine Rodrigues (Gabriel) of Oakleigh South and Patricia D'Souza (Rick) of Pickering, Canada.. She is also survived by her nephews, nieces, and grand nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Lorraine may be made to the Center for Hope Hospice (https://cfhh.org) at 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 or to support any cancer organization of your choosing.
