With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leila Sue Fowlks of Edison, New Jersey, who passed away on October 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Leila Sue may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leila Sue touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dorothy Snake and Lawrence Snake; her husband Gary Fowlks; her daughter Jodi Costeira (Paul); her grandson PJ; her son Jason Fowlks (Cortney); and her brothers, Larry Frank Snake and Greg Snake. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Piscataway Funeral Home (18 Stelton Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
