He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Luminiello, Sr. and Linda Luminiello; his brother Anthony Luminiello; and his cousin Alysia. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Luminiello; his son Jayden of Edison; his aunts, Gerry and Lois Payti; his uncle Chris; his niece Brielle Luminiello; his cousins, Jodi, Diane (Michael) and Joseph III (Destiny); and also, Jodi Luminiello, Michael Jr., Giovanna, Joseph IV and Alexander.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840).

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to a charity that was very special to John: Tunnels to Towers Foundation @ t2t.org.

“I’m deeply saddened to hear about this. We haven’t spoken directly in a few years but that does not mean either one of us could not reach out and pick up where we left off. We had some good times in school together. Good times racing around with the mustangs and going down to Wildwood. I’m gonna have to look through the old pics and find pics of our mustangs. I can’t believe you’re gone now. I know I told you I was moving to florida , well I ended up moving there.”
