He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. and Marie. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sister Rose Marie Sayben; his daughters, Marjorie M. Hudak and Amanda Chaneski (Scott); his grandchildren, Alieya, Kennedy, Amira and Maverick; and his pet Harley. He is also survived by many nieces, a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks loved ones to donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in John's name.
