With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jayanthi Loraine Rathasekera of Edison, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2024 at the age of 75. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alexander Luvis and Felicitus Luvis; her siblings, Dr. Claude Luvis and Malka Fernando; her husband Joseph Anthony Merril Ratnasekera; her children, Dr. Malika DeSilva, Krishantha Ratnasekera (Meralyn Ratnasekera) and Dr. Asanthi Ratnasekera (Jim Cavello); and her grandchildren, Josh, Alina De Silva, Keyanna, Anaya, Amaya, Jayden Ratnasekera and Arielle Cavello.
