With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elba Verdia of Edison, New Jersey, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on July 6, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Elba departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elba may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elba leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juana Rivera and Narciso Rivera; and her husband Joseph "Peppy". She is survived by: her children, Daniel Verdia (Stacey) of Fair Lawn, Andrea D'Elia of Basking Ridge and Vanessa Deroba (Rich) of Bridgewater; and her grandchildren, Owen, Marissa, John and Chase.
