He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Margaret Carney (Sullivan) and Harold Margaret; his siblings, Harold Carney (Mildred) and Marilyn Bacon (Sullivan); his son-in-law Victor Vilela; and also Joey.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Carney (Leonard) of Edison, NJ.; his children, Devin Whitlock (Tim Carney), Meghan Vilela and Erin Van De Water (Scott); his niece LynnAnn Moakley (John); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Katie and Ryan; and his grandchildren, Mauricio Vilela, Bridgette, Ryan and Charlie Van De Water.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home (660 New Dover Rd, Edison, NJ 08820). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Dover United Methodist (687 New Dover Rd, Edison, NJ 08820).
