He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Gallant and Loretta Gallant; his siblings, Norman, Richard Gallant and Diane Stewart; and his mother-in-law Loretta Reedy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Podlaski Gallant of Edison; his sons, Donald J Gallant (Jenna), Michael Gallant (Erica) of Millstone, NJ and Steven Gallant (Lauren) of Edison, NJ; his grandsons, Nathan and Michael Gallant, Jr.; his siblings, Dennis, David Gallant, Janine and Michele Gallant; and his father-in-law John Reedy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
