He was predeceased by: his father Glenn B. Stephens; and his brother Lee A. Stephens. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Stephens of Edison; the mother of his children Sandra Stephens of Edison; his daughters, Marlee Rose and Leigha Hoppe; his brother Russell (Heather) of Scotch Plains; his close friend Zachary Hoppe of Edison; his uncle Robert Hala (Judy) of Edison; his nephew Ryan; and his cousins, Robert Jr. and Scott.
