He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Fila and Flora Fila; his wife Evelyn "Evey" Marie Schneider; his children, Craig (Peggy) of Boonton, Denita Laprezioso (Phil) of Naples, Teresa Nystrom (Dwight) of Pompton Lakes and Patricia Zonsa (Alan Mitnick) of Brick; his grandchildren, Nicholas Laprezioso (Elena), Sarah Nystrom (Vincent Wood) and Michael Zonsa; his great grandchildren, Riley and Jacob Laprezioso; his stepgranddaughter Marie Evans (Frank) of Boonton; his sister Norma Davidson; his son-in-law Michael Zonsa; and also, Jamie, Shelby and Anthony.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lon's honor may be sent to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
