He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred Sakosits and William Lefkowitz; his stepfather John Sakosits; his wife Karen Mansour Lefkowitz; his children, Eryn Phillips and Ian Lefkowitz; his stepchild Zach Mansour; his grandchildren, Soren, Harlow, Elliot, Karen and Sari; and his siblings, Ira and Marc Lefkowitz.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Cedar Park Cemetery. A shiva was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:15 PM, on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home of Mrs (24 Vela Way, Edgewater, NJ 07020).
