He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Mathieu and Elizabeth Carver Mathieu; and his father-in-law John. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mathieu (Peggy Parke); his siblings, John Mathieu (Karen) of Stockton, Susan Madar (late George) of Devon, PA and Barbara Crawford (Robert) of Chester, VT.; his sisters-in-law, Susan Norton (Charles) of Wanaque and Sally Busam (Greg) of Oak Ridge; his mother-in-law Irma Parke of Westwood; and his nieces and nephews, Laura Hume (Robert), Richard Parke (Laura), Jack Parke (Anna), Jennifer Varelas (Jon), Douglas Busam (Janice), Jill Robinson (Jack), Zachary Crawford (Katie), Kate McCallister (Greg), Meg Crawford, Jordan Crawford and Sasha Mathieu.
