It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta J. LeCates of Edgewater Park, New Jersey, who passed away on December 9, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her son Matthew LeCates; her parents, Emma Leighton and Bob Leighton; and her pets, Sissy and Buster.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle D'Ascentis (Fred), Jennifer Bell (Michael), Nicole LeCates and Jaime LeCates (Greg DeWitt); her grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony, Mikey, Danielle, Joey, Nick, Antonio and Ali; her siblings, Kathleen Lindsey (Fred), Nancy Klauder (Tim) and Bob Leighton (Jean); and her caregiver Swati. She is also survived by Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Pioneer Blvd, Westampton, NJ or Burlington County Samaritan Hospice.
