He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Donald Calvin; his sister Ruth Van Orren; his significant other Mary Pansulla; his children, Angela Muñoz (Percy Muñoz) of Millstone, Christopher Cook (Heather Robison) of Farmingdale and Ryan Cook (Kate Luethold) of Belmar; his mother Margaret Cook of Eatontown; his sister April Szaro (John Szaro); and his grandchildren, Lorenzo, Amelia and Elliot.
