He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Joseph and Peggy Markiewicz. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Ringgold; his children, Dawn Goldman (Steven), Kimberly Ringgold (Robbie Peterolff), Steven Ringgold (Jennifer) and Timothy Ringgold (Kelly); his sister Peggy Glaspey (Steven); his grandchildren, Michael Ringgold, Matthew Goldman, Kyle Ringgold, Alexis Ringgold, Kassandra Reed, Samuel Ringgold, Izaac Ringgold, Elaina Ringgold, Abigail Ringgold, Maya Ringgold and Lucas Ringgold; and his siblings-in-law, Denise Roberson, Jimmy Markiewicz and Joe Markiewicz (Rose).
