He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nieglos and Maria Nieglos (Mazur); and his siblings, Joseph, Steven, John, Thomas, Edward Nieglos, Genevieve Petty, Frances Steiger, Josephine Humenik and Claire Flaherty.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his daughter Leanne Mattingly (Mark); and his grandson Tristan Mattingly.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to The St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, http://www.stjude.org.
