He was predeceased by: his wife Amalia "Molly" Cooney; and his son William P. Cooney. He is survived by: his children, John Luke Cooney (Debra), Nancy A. Joy (William) and Alice M. Cooney; his grandchildren, David Koger (Erika), Jennifer Cooney, Dermot Joy and Amalia "Molly" Joy; and his siblings, William, Rosemary, Henry, Luke, Peter, David, Thomas, Martha, Theresa, Dorothy, Helen, Elizabeth, Frances, Alice and Catherine.

Masks are required and social distancing must be observed.
