He is survived by: his wife Maria Michalska; his daughters, Agnieszka Krzysztofik and Elzbieta Augustyn; his grandchildren, Angelika, Natalia, Julia, Emily and Michael; and his niece Susan Pelak. He is also survived by his four siblings.
