He was predeceased by: his parents, Adalbert Banas and Mary Banas; his wife Barbara Wojcik; and his siblings, John, Joseph, Stephen Banas, Matilda Kubler, Helen Lapitka, Sophie Banas and Maryann Baldasti.
He is survived by: his children, Donna (Steven Chirichella), Diane (Robert Polito) and Robert (Georgianna Banas); his grandchildren, Robert, Alex (Trisha), Laura (Anthony) and Sarah; and his great grandchildren, Bree, Madeline and Alex.
