George M. Barras Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George M. Barras of East Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathan Barras and Elizabeth Barras; his siblings, Jack and Eileen (Mary); and his daughter Kathleen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Eileen Lucich, Joan DeVizio (Bill), Catherine Lindsey (David) and Mary Pena; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew (Kendyl), Andrew (Ciara), Sean (Kristen), Sarah, Jonathan, Ryan (Michelle), Jason, Brendan and William; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Ava, Jack, Claire, George, James and Marie.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George's name may be made to St. Philomena's Church.
