It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen J. Merola (East Hanover, New Jersey), who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenio Merola and Giovanna Crocomo Merola; and his siblings, Anella, Rosina, Carl, Ann, Frank, Julie and Tony.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie; his sons, Stephen and Michael; his daughters-in-law, Pamela and Elizabeth; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Sophie, Lilya, Avery, Avany and Thea Bella. He is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The March of Dimes, the Parsippany Troy-Hills Public Library Foundation, or Saint Christopher's Roman Catholic Church.
