Robert A. Steiger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2025, at the age of 91, Robert A. Steiger (East Hanover, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Robert may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Ileen; his wife Dorothy A.; and his children, Robert Jr., James, Howard and Mary Wotasek.
He is survived by: his daughter Margaret "Peggy" Pivin (Steve) of Burlington. He is also survived by grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Par-Troy Funeral Home (95 Parsippany Rd, Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ 07054). A Mass was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mount Carmel R. C. Church (75 Ridgedale Ave, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927). A committal service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Restland Memorial Park (77 Deforest Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
