She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Sturgis and Mable Sturgis; her husband Lee; her daughter Jennifer Surmanek; and her sister Lois Marie Lingsch.
She is survived by: her niece Donna Alvator of The Highlands; her nephews, William Lingsch of Mississippi and Steve Lingsch of Baltimore, MD; and her great-niece Danielle Alvator.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hancliffe Home For Funerals (222 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Restland Memorial Park (77 Deforest Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
