We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2020, at the age of 85, Nicholas S. D'Angelo of East Hanover, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, John, Anthony D'Angelo, Mary Walter, Grace Hagerman and Roselyn Ilker.

He is survived by: his wife May Ann (Carr); his children, Marianne Di Benedetto (Donald) of Whippany, Nicholas D'Angelo of East Hanover, Mark D'Angelo (Leslie) of Whippany and Peter D'Angelo (Cathy) of Nutley; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Nicky, Anthony, Nicole, Sophia, Christopher D'Angelo, Donny and Alexandra Di Benedetto.

Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated as an alternative to flowers.

“I am very sorry to just hear of Nick's passing. Nick was always a hard postal worker who wanted to always do the right thing. He worked for me as a Supervisor the Greystone Park Post Office and later at the Morris Plains Post Office before retiring. Nick was liked by all his employees and was missed after he retired. Nick and his family remains in my prayers.”
