He is survived by: his spouse Geralynn Tancredi Mascola; his children, Louis G. Mascola (Michelle), Angelo Mascola and Genera Mascola; his siblings, Dominick Mascola and Nancy Halpern; and his mother-in-law Eleanor Tancredi.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hancliffe Home For Funerals (222 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima RC Church (312 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936). An entombment was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
A proud and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many - Louis will always be remembered as a staple of health, as well as his most famous phrase when out to dinner with friends – "May I make a suggestion?"In lieu of flowers, his family requests plants that can be planted in his backyard, or donations to Columbia University Irving Medical Center for Glioblastoma research.
