He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco Romeo and Domenica Romeo; his wife Vincenza "Nancy" Romeo; and his brothers, Rosario, Domenico and Antonio.

He is survived by: his children, Rocco Romeo, Mimma Reilly (Mark), Rosemarie Makris (John) and Jane Deo (David); his grandchildren, V. J., Jenna, Brianna and Alessandra; and his siblings, Maria, Francesca, Rosalia, Rocco, Vincenzo and Lorenzo.
