Walter Surowiec Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Surowiec Sr. of East Brunswick, New Jersey, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia White Surowiec; his brother John Surowiec; and his parents, Stanley Surowiec and Mary Suita Surowiec. He is survived by: his children, Walter Surowiec, Jr. (Mary), Patricia Surowiec, Michael Surowiec (Sharon), Karen Surowiec, Daniel Surowiec and Maryanne Surowiec; his sister Irene Janas; his grandchildren, George, Brian, Steven, Asher, Meshelemiah and Jesse; his great grandchild Kayla; and his wife Pauline Redmond Surowiec.

In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Walter's memory may be made to Stokes State Forest. You may also visit the park and make a check or cash donation.
