He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gayda and Alfreda Gayda. He is survived by: his son Robert John (Lacy); his sister Gerry Tomaszewski of Monroe; his wife Barbara Gayda of Millstone Township; his grandchildren, Bailey and Rhett Gayda of Rumson; and also Marie Gayda of Dearborn, Michigan. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Brunswick Memorial (454 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ 08816). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (91 Stillhouse Rd, Millstone, NJ 08510).
