In the vast expanse of eternity, Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stokes and Regina Stokes (Yuknalis); and his sisters, Theresa Stokes and Mary Semple. He is survived by: his brothers, Thomas Stokes (Laurel) and Daniel Stokes (Nancy). He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews, and great nephews and great nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rezem Funeral Home (457 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ 08816). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
