He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. and Bernadette; his wife Barbara Kennedy; and his brothers, Jerry Kennedy and Philip Kennedy.
He is survived by: his brother Phillip; his sons, John J. Kennedy III (Jo Ann) of Jamesburg, Michael Kennedy of Manalapan, Brian Kennedy of Palm Springs, CA. and Christopher Kennedy (Michelle) of East Brunswick; his siblings, Dennis Kennedy (Nancy) of San Francisco, CA. and Kathy DeChello (George) of West Haven, CT.; and his grandchildren, John J. Kennedy IV, Devon Kennedy, Evelyn Kennedy and Vivian Kennedy. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Our Lady of Mercy RC Church (58 Main St, Englishtown, NJ 07726).
