It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Francis Doherty (East Brunswick, New Jersey), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Doherty and Geraldine Doherty; his wife Arlene; his daughter Dawn Foxxe; and his siblings, William Doherty, Louise LaFrance and Jerome Doherty.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Doherty, Denise McCool (Steve), Darlene Marasco (Joe), Diane Sidorski (Jerry) and John Jr. Doherty (Monica); his son-in-law Ed Foxxe; and his grandchildren, Chris Mirro (Darian), Kyle Mirro (Rebecca), Stephanie Rehorn, Ava Rehorn, Megan Guzman (Jason), Ed Foxxe II, Timothy Foxxe (Amanda), Brian McCool, Erin McCool, Daniel McCool, Ryan Brunson (Matt), Abby Howard, Logan Howard, Jerry Sidorski Jr., Keri Sidorski, Emily Doherty, Megan Doherty and Jack Doherty. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
