He was predeceased by: his parents, David J. Simon and Margaret Simon; and his siblings, Thomas Adkins and Anna West. He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" J. Simon of East Brusnwick; his daughter Debra J. Simon of East Brunswick; his sisters, Linda Adkins Tussey (Dale) of Kalkaska, MI and Marylou Adkins of Battle Creek, MI; his grandsons, John William Mulligan III and Joseph David Mulligan of East Brunswick; his nieces, Tammy Gordon and Melissa Ruzbarsky; and his nephew Matthew Michels. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
