He was predeceased by : his mother Lorraine D. Swenson; his uncles, Lawrence J. Zieminski (Larry), Carl H. Swenson, Edward Sandberg and Thomas H. Brown Jr.; his aunt Marie A. Brown (Swenson); and his close friend Carla Bagen.

He is survived by : his father John O. Swenson of Seneca, SC; his pet Lynn; his sister Lorri Lynn Swenson-Casella (James) of Jackson, NJ; his nieces, Lindsey, Jamie and Alexis; his aunts, May Jones of Sarasota, FL and Joyce Zieminski of East Brunswick; his close friend Steve Johnson; and his friend Dee Evans.
