He was predeceased by: his wife Edith A. Monroe; and his stepson Gary M. Roberts. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joseph E. Roberts Jr., James J. Roberts and Joann Stavole; and his stepgrandchildren, David, Eden, Robert Jr., Stephen, Jake, Rachel, Jennifer and Kathleen.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dick's name to any charity fighting cancer or helping Veterans.
