We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2023, at the age of 65, Joseph W. Gallagher of Dunellen, New Jersey, born in Plainfield, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Gallagher and George Gallagher; and his brother William Gallagher. He is survived by: his wife Linda Eckhardt; his children, Elyse Schoepp (Eric) and Shawn Gallagher (Brianne); his brothers, George A. Gallagher (Naomi) and Michael Gallagher (Joan); and his grandchildren, Aiden, Adelynn, Charlotte and Patrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Dunellen Recreation Department in Joe's name. Donations can be sent in the form of a check made payable to Dunellen Recreation, 355 North Avenue, Dunellen, New Jersey 08812.
