He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Fenton and Esther Fenton; and his siblings, Veronica Nalbone, David Fenton and Vincent Fenton.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Fenton; his children, Joseph A. Fenton of Bridgewater, NJ, Donna Peraza (Ruben Peraza) of Wake Forest, NC, Kim Trombino (Robert Trombino) of Bethlehem, PA, Teresa Fenton of Dunellen, NJ and Kelly Soto (Hector Soto) of Dunellen; his grandchildren, Joseph V. Fenton, Jasmine Soto and Gianna Soto; and his sister Esther Ketchum. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the American Lung Association or American Cancer Society.
