He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph O'Connell and Norma O'Connell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Llull O'Connell; his stepdaughters, Jessica (Marko), Erin (Gregg) and Catherine (Christian); his granddaughters, Charlotte and Madeline; his siblings, Patti (Richard), Jay (Tracy) and Joan McCarthy; his nieces and nephews, Alexis, Austin, Brendan, Danny and Ryan; and his friends, Richie and Kitty Bendix.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps at dumontambulance.org.
